You would have been a good person to know while I was researching my novel Wai-nani, High Chiefess of Hawaii=inspired by the great queen Ka&#039;ahumanu. I did read all the of the oldest resources, visited Bishop Museum and traveled the Islands extensively, but I am still learning.
My book iset in pre-contact Hawaii reveals the Hawaiian point of view of the events that took place when CaptainCook arrived and follows the dynamic rise to power of Kamehameha the Great.
